75 Biase Palladino di Nicola, born 1810, did not marry Teresa Angela diTota. Nicola Palladino (b.c.1775/1784; d. 09 JAN 1844) and MariaTeresa Libertucci (b.c. 1782/1789; d. 25 JUN 1853) had two childrennamed Biase. The first Biase was born 14 FEB 1810 and died 28 JUN1819. The second Biase was born 01 MAR 1821, married Anna MariaGabriele on 24 NOV 1850, and died 09 APR 1880. I have no children forthem.

Angelo Palladino (b.c. 1753/1770; d. 01 SEP 1850) was married toLibera d'Innocenzio (b.c. 1761/1767; d. 28 FEB 1827). According to hisdeath record, his parents were Biase Palladino and Teresangela diTota. I have searched the baptismal records from 1750 through 1762 andhave not found a record for Angelo Palladino. I suspect he was bornafter 1762. I also suspect that his mother's name may have beenMariangela di Tota.

I have only two records for the baptism of a Biase Palladino in therelevant time period: (1) Biase Palladino, baptized 04 FEB 1705, sonof Sebastiano and Cecilia Ciaramella; and (2) Biagio AntonioPalladino, baptized 01 FEB 1734, son of Angelo Antonio and LuciaColucci. The former appears to be too old to be Angelo Palladino'sfather, but the latter would have been about 30-odd years old whenAngelo was born. Thus, Biagio Antonio Palladino is the probable fatherof our Angelo Palladino. Unfortunately, I have no baptismal record forAngelo (I am missing the 1763-1808 baptismal records) or marriagerecord for Biase to corroborate this.

In addition to the Biase Palladino mentioned above, I have two otherfamily groups headed by Biase Palladino in the relevant time period:(1) Biase Palladino and Mariangela di Tota, parents of Giuseppina(b.c. 1767/1768), Paolina (b.c. 1778/1781), and Anna Maria (b.c.1779/1780); and (2) Biase Palladino and Mariangela del Cioppo, parentsof Domenicangelo (b.c. 1778/1784) [Note that Biase's son-in-law wasLuigi del Cioppo]; and (3) the above-mentioned Biase Palladino andTeresangela di Tota, parents of Angelo (1753/1770). I suspect that theabove records are actually that of a single family group, to wit:Biase Palladino and Mariangela di Tota.

In the relevant time period, there are two records for Mariangela delCioppo, one born in 1759 and the second in 1761. Since they were bothof the same parents, clearly the first one died prior to the birth ofthe second. I submit that this individual, being born in 1761, is tooyoung to be the wife of Biase Palladino and the mother of the childrenenumerated above. In the relevant time period, there are two recordsfor Teresangela di Tota, one born in 1730 and the second in 1753.Since they were both of the same parents, clearly the first one diedprior to the birth of the second. I submit that this individual, beingborn in 1753, is probably too young to be the wife of Biase Palladinoand the mother of the children enumerated above. That leavesMariangela di Tota. There is only one record in the relevant timeperiod: Maria Angela Nicoletta di Tota, baptized 11 APR 1740, daughterof Giorgio and Teresa Colitto. She is of the right age and is theprobable wife of Biase Palladino. However, this is all circumstantialand I have no corroborating records to confirm this.

If my theory is correct, Angelo Palladino, b.c. 1753/1770, is the sonof Biase Palladino (son of Angelo and Lucia Ciaramella) and Mariangeladi Tota (daughter of Giorgio and Teresa Colitto).
